St. Elmo Hall Today

The Delta Phi Fraternity at the College of William and Mary
The Fall 2017 semester proved to be both eventful and productive! We have completed our fourth year in our new house at 730 Ukrop Way on Fraternity Row, and the place has truly become our home. We are also working diligently to strengthen ties with our National and Alumni associations to improve the fraternity experience for current brothers and the generations to come.
We enjoyed yet another extremely successful fall rush this year, welcoming eight gentlemen to the bond.  We look forward to continuing this trend in the coming spring.  Additionally, we look forward to hosting our annual Croquet Invitational. However, amidst all this excitement, St. Elmo Hall continues to be one of the strongest and most close-knit brotherhoods on campus. We strive to ensure that our brothers achieve their academic and personal goals, as well as make meaningful contributions and improvements to our fraternity, Greek life, and the William & Mary community.

The Big Move: The New St. Elmo Hall

Delta Phi has moved into the new fraternity complex located across from William & Mary Hall as of Fall 2013. This transition has been years in the making, and owed to devoted alumni and brothers, as well as a supportive administration. The new complex includes 12 buildings (11 chapter houses and a community building) and will provide 187 new beds in total. Each house has room for 17 residents (8 doubles and 1 single). Due to the tireless efforts of John Zachary, Drew Chlan, and Jullian Harrison (just to name a few) and our exceptional status with the administration, we received the second draft pick in the lottery. Ultimately we chose site 8 (see right) and house model 2 (see below). The house includes 5 toilets, 4 showers, 1 elevator, a kitchen, a study room, a laundry room, and two covered porches. Our neighbors on either side are Pi Kappa Alpha and Beta Theta Pi.
